    Can we get a translation on this page too? It appears to be a recipe.

    Also, on a side note. The flan recipe from the Scarlet Pudding comic is delicious.

    It's not so important, but サラダ油 (lit. salad oil) is Japanese cooking oil. Probably it's not the thing called "salad oil" in other countries.

    Hm. I checked my dictionary sources, because I wanted to be sure whether it was a loan word with a non-literal meaning, but they say it means "salad oil". Of course, said dictionaries are ultimately put together by individuals, and thus are not infallible, but still...

    I appreciate the citation. After viewing it, I decided to check the English Wikipedia as well. I looked up "salad oil" and was redirected to "vegetable oil ". Apparently, the two terms are roughly synonymous, as oils used for salad dressing can also be used for general cooking. So one could translate it as "cooking oil" and it would still mean the same substance, just used for a different purpose.
