I know the Germans are fond of curry ketchup (which is used in their famous Currywurst), and the Russians have some sort of weird... curry soup, but other than that...

That's assuming they can competently make decent curry of their own nationality.

You know, he said that they would be in charge of cooking "for the week" - he could have just told them all to take two days, each, and given the final day to whoever won a janken or something. At least it would have kept too many cooks from spoiling the broth.

British curry, as stated before, is damn good. (After all, the British were colonizing India, so they got plenty of chances to try it out, and considering what NORMAL British food is like, it's no wonder they imported it.)

You could possibly make a sausage-and-cabbage curry work, curry's a pretty vague term, and you might even, possibly, maybe, make a heavily vinegar-based curry that works. I've never heard of one, and you'd have to avoid things like the dairy-base of most curries, but you could possibly make a really acidy tomato-based curry that way, which might come out like a really sour gumbo.

The beetroot thing is just borscht, of course. It would probably work, just not be called curry. (And Hibiki/Verniy's lines actually include her saying that she can't make curry, so she makes borscht, instead.)

If they worked on their own, all but maybe Lebe would be able to cook well, if not produce Japanese Curry.

... And now, I'm REALLY hungry...

...except for the Sauerkraut (too sour!). Swap that for Currywurst mit Pommes and you have the third best German hunger-killer, behind only of Bratwurst with bread and Bretzel with butter.
