Gunslinger Girl is the most impressive work which depicts notion of "girl with a gun" with real seriousness,not with some mood-breaking moe things which focus on just getting attention of male readers.Recently there are things like kantai collection or girls und panzer,but none of these are close to gunslinger girl in terms of touching and thoughtful story.Shame aida yuu's current comic doesn't seem as serious as GG.
GSG got dragged out a lot during the end. It almost was like he couldn't figure out a proper ending (which is understandable because you can't just kill off main characters without a good reason). Still, I think GSG ended pretty well
I still think Henrietta and Jose's death was a bunch of bs. I can understand Henrietta killing herself or Jose, but Jose doing double suicide? WTF?
