Oh lord, I know this one all too well. Except my cats don't like that you're asleep, so they sit on your face, rather than shoulder, and lick your eyes until you wake up.

Hatsuyukitty is the most like the cats I've known. Fubukitty and Miyukitty seem way too eager to please Shirayuki. I'm not one of those people who think all cats secretly hate you, but while your cat does love you, your cat does NOT care about making you proud. Cats think they're superior to you, so even if they love you, they're expecting YOU to make THEM proud, not the other way around.
