As long as it is something that Kitakami san wants to watch, it is of Great Justice!
Well, in 1940, the cartoon movie "Pinocchio" produced by the "Hahaa!!" company (indicating Disney) was released in the US, and was scheduled to be released in Japan the next year. As the japanese fans were having really high expectation with this movie, many movie magazines published special issues for it. But in the end, it was not until the 1950s, did this movie finally appeared there...
As Kitakami and Ooi were born in Taishou period (1912~1926, during this time Japan enjoyed a relatively more democratic and liberal political atmosphere, and had much better relationship with western world comparing to the Hirohito period), probably they were also quite eager for "Pinocchio" too.
