Right now Patrick is more like Yuna Roma Seiran in Gundam SEED Destiny. So unless he wakes up and smells the coffee he'll be nothing more than someone who we just enjoy making a fool of himself.

I wouldn't mind seeing him actually become a decent character on his own.
