I remember in a previous picture of Aya he said he was unsure how to draw her ears, so he had her hair cover them. That's probably why he explained their shape this time.

Like Moonspeaker said, it refers to her normal looking ears in the fighting game arts, compared to the pointy ones from the shooters.

My personal theory has always been that tengu manipulate inertia somehow. Of course, Aya herself can control wind, so drag is probably irrelevant to her.

Am I the only one who thought it was Hatate, at the first glance?
