IIRC didn't the author got into some health issue that the series ended prematurely?

That was Nemu Matsukura, the artist that made EaLND. Makoto had also some problems, but there was only a hiatus and the series ended normally.

It's really nice being able to see these three meeting up for the first time but a greedy part of me would also like to see how they were before they met up. I wonder what mischief Star got up to back when she was all on her lonesome.
