Well, alot of "Official" art isn't really canon. anyway It's only official if the artists and company do it. There are plenty of very risque drawings of *insert serious anime here* girls where they normally wouldn't be potrayed in such a way.
If Akira Toriyama drew hentai of DBZ, it would still be considered "official art" but i just wouldn't be canon.

What Tetsamaru points out it's pretty accurate but if we go by what's been seen of Michelle in the manga (She's muscular there too) besides her physical training and body stats, it would be pretty logical for this buff physique to be canon.
