I'm not sure how you interpreted what I said, but something seems to have gone haywire. I wasn't mocking the person who made the translation. I was making a point toward how our notes system works, which lets me go through and do a grammar and word choice pass on an existing translation. Not being able to because it's been burned into the image is disappointing. That said, I still haven't figured out how this new note system works or what it really is, but a preview I glimpsed of it on one image a few minutes ago makes it look like we might be able to use it to fix hard translations since its boxes are opaque.
I don't feign to know Japanese. But I do know English, and I enjoy fixing these things. It makes up pretty much all all of my note changes on Danbooru that weren't the minority of moving the box around, deleting a double translation, or adding explanatory links.

I don't mean any offense or anything. I just thought you were talking about seeing a comic in english, you feel like you don't have a chance to translate or something as a joke, since we don't really get much chance of an actual english comic from pixiv.
That and the original comic I believe was originally in english. I assume by new note system you mean the one where you cover the entire original text and replace it with the language rather than the one that we have before? I thought that was only a short test since I'm still seeing the original translation note that we use.

I believe us being able to see them at all was due to something being broken; they're currently under testing and should only be available to Builder+ accounts.
