This is 100% on purpose, of course. Developers need characters that appeal to our reptilian brain’s most basic urges in order to sell their 60 USD piles of shit. Also, i’m not saying it bad, just funny. And i know it’s not a new thing either, since we already have things like Touhou and Idolmaster. Anyways, uh, Splatoon looks like a lot of fun.
