This pic gave me a thought, so I just searched on "battleship_(game)" and "kantai_collection" - and, astonishingly came up with no hits. Not a single artist has ever drawn battleships playing Battleship?! Is the game unknown in Japan? This makes me obscurely sad.

OTOH, I love that there is a specific "cheating_(competitive)" tag, presumably to differentiate it from adultery. The tags are sometimes the best part of the danbooru experience. :)

Are you sure you used the right tags? I just pulled up nine posts with that same search.

Winning tiles, at that. It's usually very, very hard to pull off a Peerless Patriot. (AKA Koizumi's Rising Sun).

So, yeah, it's like having an Ace, King, and Queen in your sleeves in a poker game. All spades, naturally.
