From the way she's acting in the last panel this is a skill that has finally awakened after a long time of "training".

Meiling fights best when she's asleep. This was proven in pool #3164.

We already saw the Tsuchinoko in a previous comic. The fat snake just lives in her hat.

I like how Marisa is basically an object in Meiling's inventory once caught. Very impressive skills.
