a) Like masturbating using a broom handle, it is so awkward to use that you can't forget to turn it back after if simply due to the awkwardness of using it.

b) If it's transformed down to normal toy length, transforming it back would also restore staff form.

Isn't that making the assumption that transforming the length and transforming the ends are one and the same action? I'd think restoring the length wouldn't necessarily mean automatically restoring the shape of the ends. There is also always the possibility that she deliberately kept it in that form.
