I haven't seen sensible full plate armour on a woman for a long time. She looks good in that.

I love when women are drawn in more natural armor, it always looks amazing in several ways.

Doesn't look very mobile. You know what she should do is try on those Bikini armors. Same amount of defense, better mobility and much more fashionable.

Female full body plate armors are sooooo last century, huehuehue.

You will be surprised by just how mobile actual full plate armour really is:

All the mobility without exposing any skin and flesh to stab at.

Also, as any Dark Souls player knows: If you fat-roll in medium or heavy armour, you are doing it wrong!

Kind of reminds me of Chris from Suikoden III. Loved how she and the other Zexen knights wore believable armour.

My only question is how you can have long hair, especially in a braid, and still comfortably wear a helmet.

The answer is you can't. You can't have long hair and have a comfortable time wearing a helmet. In fact, even with short hair, the helmet is still going to be uncomfortable.

Plate armour is very uncomfortable for extended wear. You wear that only in the battlefield, training or when your liege wants you to stand around looking pretty in court for whatever reason. Outside that you walk around in a more comfortable set of tunic and breeches.

It's still far more comfortable than a cracked skull.

Okay sure, the absolute comfort level isn't going to be high, but why couldn't it be at least relatively as comfortable as with short hair, though? As long as it's fitted correctly, surely you could just coil it inside the helmet.

It's going to be much more comfortable to cut the hair short. Bob-cut or something. Less stuff competing for space in the helmet.

    fitted

You can account for different head sizes. Why couldn't you account for extra stuff attached to a head?

Because it's cheaper to just get a bob-cut.

Speaking from personal experience, the less hair you have on your head, the better you feel wearing a helmet. Also a lot easier to shower after a long, hard day on the frontlines, too.

Though for aesthetics' sake, please let the girl keep her hair, please? (lol)

Sure, have a larger helmet. Do you also need thicker padding?

Technically, it depends on the design of the helmet, as some designs of helmet actually encouraged it.

One of the marks of the samurai was their long hair and topknots that they wore bundled up like a folded ponytail which the kabuto helmets had a slot to accept. It may have been used to help keep the kabuto in place.

I wouldn't have noticed just by looking at those Kabuto helmets.
