Jam on rice? Sound sweet and tasty as lunch, even though for someone it's heresy.
On the other hand... There IS chocolate coated lard, so jam on rice isn't that bad.

Just remembered: there is dish called Kutia, which generally made with grain, berries, honey, nuts etc, but I sometime saw (and eat) this made with rice instead of grain. This dish is often the first dish in the traditional twelve-dish Christmas Eve supper (Eastern Orthodox church), so it's not heresy to begin with :).

iirc Yamagumo's Jam are vegetable base. I think it works O_o

I cheated by using a fairly mild orange jam on jasmine rice. Its just a bit weird, but I felt like some edgy fusion-cuisine restaurant would do it.

i only dare do it if its a curry. putting some fruit flavour jam in a curry still goes good together with rice

Brotip: put some condensed milk with the jam. I recommend to use some jam with strong flavor, like blackberry or pineapple.

You can also make your rice with equal parts of water and milk to avoiding a bit the "watery" flavor.

Well, I don't know about you guys but here when you don't have anything planned or want to eat...
