Is "Sphinx" actually supposed to be a sound effect or are the other two puchis saying it (as an admitted exception to their usual Poke-speak)?

I think it's a sound effect. If it'd been meant to be puchispeak, it'd have been more centered over their heads, and possibly repeated over each individual puchi's head.

Well, allowing for Mikazuki's puchi in panel 1, it IS pretty much centered over their heads both times. I think it's the elongated final mora that's really making me wonder. No big deal either way, barring whether this qualifies for the "Unconventional SFX" pool.
