I see now. I saw the stripes merely as shadows. Given the casual attire, I assumed a more lax interpretation for who the character could be. It could be Ran without her tails drawn, or Lunasa without a violin, etc.

It could be. But given that we have nothing else to go off of, we can't ignore the minor details if we want to make an identification.
