But before leaving, Ikazuchi confessed that actually the one that depended on other people is her instead and she could not live without Commander. After that Commander decided to hang himself to free Ikazuchi from him.
Sure, the destroyers look cute but they are still in small girl bodies. you can't fall for that no matter how sweet they act towards you. i like to think of the Shipgirls as people, they talk, act, and behave like girls, teens, woman but just like the commanders in the stories the outside views them very different than us. eventually they will be only be view as an "Unnatural pair" to put it in nice terms.
