    実際にいくらだったのかはわかりません。
    どっちかというと、おみやげとしての価値のほうが高いです(笑)
    ぼくもいただきました。

    Hang in There, Kogasa-san 1777

I don't know how much it actually was.

If I had to guess, I'd say it's worth more as a souvenir. :-) I got one as well.

Reader-added tags include "You're rich, Yamame-san", "Number magic", and "Yaay, lightly salted! Akari loves lightly salted!" (a line by Yuru Yuri's Akaza Akari that's become a meme).

The survey's right on the money:

    What bills do you want?
    • Gavas
    • Gamel
    • Canossa
    • Pelica
    • Hakurei paper charms

Gavas are point coupons used by Famicom Tsuushin magazine. The editors would send gavas to any reader who got a submission published, and one could eventually collect enough to redeem for games or even a console. Gamel is the currency common to Lodoss Wars, Legend of Crystania, and the Sword World RPG. Canossa are currency units used in the early '90s quiz program TV Bookmaker. Pelica is the currency used in Kaiji.

On the other hand, these would be considered "priceless" (in more than one ways) since this banknote is being demonetised by the end of this year (2015).

Get one while you still can! (lol).

If an egg which cost 17 cent being sold for 50 billion in Zimbabwean Dollar, i guess that 50 trillion note would worth around 1.70 USD, or around 150 JPY or something..? Well, i guess the trivial and fun value is worth more than that..

The 100 trillion dollar bill is the one that's probably going to be worth the most to collectors because it's the highest point before they dollarized. The 50 trillion dollar will only really have demand for people looking to complete the set.

Hey now buddy Yamame-chan ain't no cheap lass, better fork over some real dough.

With all the adorable comedic mishaps that seem to befall Yamame in these comics I have to wonder if Souma Mizuki could maybe start up her own 'Hang in there' type comic diary.

The Z$50,000,000,000,000 banknote may have been worth that much some time last year or the year before, but certainly not now.

Hell, it's dropped in value by at least 0.5 yen in the time it took you to read this post.
