It's a Colt 1903; the Ruby's a descendant of it, but it lacks that manual safety, and also it says COLT right on the grip panel there.

I don't think thats quite right, the barrel isn't long enough and the grips look wrong. although if it is a Ruby the saftey is in the wrong spot.
