I don't understand why, but some people think the idea of her being Link's daughter is a problem when the whole premise for Zelda Musou is characters from different games (eras!) interacting with one another. She might very well be Hero of Time Link's daughter, and since he's in the game as a child, that's just all kinds of fun...

Heres to hoping she's an alternate history version of Link.

Here's hoping she's not. No, really, female Link makes about as much sense as male Zelda; that it fucking doesn't!

From what I read and understand, she seems to be completely different to the other Link.

And besides, seems like there are actually quite a lot people wanting a alternate history female Link.

The way I see it; Nintendo has canonized the parallel universes/alternate timelines/Ocarina of Time made things screwy stuff so they might as well make a 'fuck making sense, its more fun this way!'-spinoff universe.

Zelda is the reincarnation of Hylia, and the Goddesses like their Hero (like, seriously, they all crush on Link). Bottomline though, no fucking genderbending. It's disgusting and abhorrent.

Also, I rather like the idea of Linkle being a sister or better yet, a daughter. Having a family tree fleshed out would rock.
