    Hang in There, Kogasa-san 1808

    Going to Okinawa, I get the feeling I hardly even heard Japanese spoken outside of the shops or hotels. There were an incredible number of Chinese tourists.

    By the way, it had been about 7 years since I last went to Shuri Castle, so the red color of its walls had dulled quite a bit.

    Believe it or not, Chinese language is actually contagious. Many of my non-Chinese speaking friends picked up some simple Chinese phrases.
