It's a rubbish and recycling guide - burnables (in red), non burnables (in brown) and then a breakdown of how you separate your recycling. (The bottom two ones that are set apart could be things like electronics or clothing - stuff that has a special pick-up day)

Those instant cup Yakisobas have a drainage on the cover so that you can drain out all the water easily and efficiently, although you have to take care not to pour it out to fast least the water might escape from the side and burn you, but Muppo here just seem to have bad luck and keep pouring it out wrong.
