    Hang in There, Kogasa-san 1847

    I'd wanted to ride the Arashiyama trolley at least once, so I was totally okay with this. :-)

    I was naturally careful in various ways, by the way, and wore a surgical mask the whole time I was in Kyoto.

    I'd be an endlessly masked Kogasa-san if I drew it in the images, so I'm not going to draw it. (^^;)

    I actually had to change it. The sentence does mean "X is contraband/forbidden items", but the line is a Haruhi meme that I hadn't seen in Japanese before.

    Reader-added tags consist of "That's classified information" (a la Mikuru's line from Haruhi) and "Ta-smart fox, sick umbrella". (I've no idea what "Ta-smart" (たスマート) is meant to be.)

    It says "Ta-smart fox, sick umbrella". Nothing there indicates "it was", and the "ta" makes no sense. That it's from a possibly fictional children's book is irrelevant. The tag is meaningless.

    Because I only add tags if I feel they contribute something meaningful, even if it's just a bit of cross-cultural humor. If I don't have anything meaningful to add, I don't add anything.

    Edit: I'm not trying to be cruel or anything; I'm just trying to help you understand how you're not presenting yourself (and by extension, other American fans) in the best light by tagging in that fashion.
