I was trying to figure out why the hell this artist's works reminded me of church of all things, and after digging out my old Bible that had artwork similar to this, it really feels like they were really inspired by Precious Moment series.

Well, I guess I shouldn't assume if they were really inspired by it, but the resemblance is uncanny.
