I got the impression that it amounts to a power boost and either unlimited MP or using ambient MP to bolster the regular supply. Probably the latter because a Cinder with unlimited MP is pretty bullshit OP.

yea unlimited mp would be bullshit and be as bad as game breaking weapon, with the new world of remnant explained the said story about said maiden, but beyond that gave basically little or no answers what we already know on the maidens on how they got it. Once again goes back to the original question I made and that RT yet explained it and more less other thing in that show.
