Exactly. The reasoning is weird even in the event, but basically she needed to leave a Saberface who could eventually become MHX. Even though the Throne exists beyond time or space. And she comes from a separate Universe which is essentially what happens if you turn the Throne into a galactic setting with all Servants let loose. MHX is a gag character (she admits as such herself during the Kara no Kyoukai event), so anything related to her is pretty out there even by Nasuverse standards. She's more or less a carrot and a "What's up Doc?" away from being a slightly more violent than normal looney tunes escapee.
