After doing a little checking I find these ninja Elins are from the new Shinobi class. Curious thing though, I thought there was already a type of ninja class for the Elins a few years ago or was that just a simple dress up outfit?

Correct on all counts.
There is a "Reaper" class for Elins that seem ninja-ish if you have no context (they use chain and sickle weapons) AND there is a Ninja dress up outfit -AND- there is a new Ninja Elin class.

Ah I see, thanks for clearing that up. So much new exclusive stuff for the Elins, proof they are TERA's master race. Still alot of bitching going on in the Ninja class launch trailers though.
