So how is this a question when there is a PERIOD AT THE END in the original sentence?
@warellis Japanese punctuation rules aren't the same as in English. The sentence also ends in the question marker か, so a Japanese reader will pick up the interrogatory implication without a question mark being necessary. It CAN be there, but depending on context, it isn't always needed. In this case, it's sort of a half-question, half-statement, so the period isn't out of place.
