In fact, I actually thought of this after getting back from the prelim inspection. The signal could barely get through roughly at the edge of the room, but it really was just barely, so I was worried over whether there was a better way.
What a stroke of luck that the communication terminal cradles I checked into online had LAN ports!
I bought one right away.
