Incidentally, my openly carrying coworker is also a Marine, similar to those terrorist foiling vacationers. Iowa also had a marine detachment aboard who manned one of the 5'' mounts, which was marked with a Marine logo.

Funny thing is that yesterday I read a news article about a girl in Florida getting shot because her neighbour's backyard shooting range... well, he missed the target.

In Florida it is legal to discharge guns at any form of shooting range without regard for the safety of others, apparently, according to Daily Kos. One Mr Harry Lanham's lawyer said:
"This was a tragic result, this young lady (getting) hurt,” said Mike Chionopolous, Lanham’s attorney. “But he wasn’t doing anything illegal.”
