I'm glad more people are drawing Iowa and Kongou, they go well together.

Kongou is finally becoming the straight man! No longer the butt of "Burning Love!" jokes anymore.

The first few depictions of this pairing annoyed me in terms of how their personalities were handled, but as time rolls on I find myself being entertained by it more.

I'm guessing Iowa was hoping for a Pizza Kiss something like a Pocky kiss. But Kongou just grabbed it from her mouth.

How the fuck is that racist? Just because you acknowledge different country cultures (which isn't even race?)

Edit: sorry, you probably weren't implying this, but it really bothers me how single minded society as a whole has been brainwashed due to political correctness in going after everyone for every little thing. People are seriously afraid of saying what is on their mind due to fear of offending some random group and then the subsequent prosecution either by public shaming, losing their job, or even civil courts (which is really illegal as it allows double jeapordy and guilty until proven innocent mindset).

Words like "Brit", "Jap" and "Yank" are derogatory, though the word "Brit" is becoming a bit neutral nowadays.

Not sure about "yank" or "Brit", but apparently the word jap wasn't always offensive, but became so during WW2 and so it's been considered an ethnic slur (like nigger) since then.

Not that I disagree with people being overly sensitive regarding political correctness recently, mind you, just that the word "jap" has been considered bad for decades now, so it's not really a new thing.

I'm American but Yank doesn't bother me a bit. Although our history is one of turning our enemies taunts into patriotic songs and drinking tunes into national anthem so... kek.

I mean, it is one of those things where we should just ignore rather than trying to keep tally on who offended who and where. The more people remind each other on backgrounds that wasn't even theirs, just associated with their faction (race, religion, organization, country) the more friction it starts and then you get to the point where everyone is so polarized that "all lives matter" is suddenly hate speech. I'm overreacting but I really am sick of how pervasive this political correctness deal is getting. And I mean, I am probably one of the most self-righteous people out there, I don't forget when someone does something to another and I love it when people get their revenge or everything is otherwise "equalized", but some things you just have to turn away from and let go to make the whole situation better.

Disgusting how they're now "getting along." Japan and America will never reconcile. Both sides hate each other, judging from what they say about each other on the internet.

Inb4, the internet is not actual opinions. Wrong! People voice their true feelings behind the safety of a monitor because they can get away with it.

See, there isn't anything inherently wrong with political correctness, but the problem is that it's gone so far in the other direction that it's become the very thing it was fighting against.

I get what you are saying, but political correctness even as a concept is wrong because it is a means of control through social pressure. If political correctness was not a means of furthering a political agenda, it would just be called "correctness". Just like how social justice is not really "justice". These are perversion of its original form in an intent to establish it as the norm. I don't know how things are now, but when I was in the university, many of my professors and peers had a very egotistical mindset where they believe that they deserve to be able to control and dictate how people think and live. Its a "I know better than you" kind of mindset. It basically establishes a mode of thinking different from common sense to stop people from thinking critically about issues.

I agree with you on the principle, but I disagree with you on the practical. Political correctness IS a means of control through social pressure, but calling it "wrong" implies that the system isn't already rigged in favor of one group over the other.

Similarly, you're right about social justice. Its not "justice" because (almost) nothing "social justice warriors" protest against is illegal. Its not illegal to say that women should be grabbed by the pussy. Ergo, "social justice warriors" should shut up and say its perfectly acceptable for women to be grabbed by the pussy. Oh but thats not "political correctness" because there is no correction being done, just maintaining the status quo.
