    The “Sylphid(e)” is a name for the feminine variants of those coming from one opera art I believe, I’ve seen it used often in fantasy (once for a monster like Yuki-Onna), I believe it can be a suitable thing.
    See: Merman(/-men?) and Mermaids, Succubi and Incubi (how are called herms?), etcetera. Even Amazon and Amazoness despite them being somehow "gender-locked".
