When the ducks come marching in. (Still early Japanese tanks....)

Though personally I liked when the German/Russian ace combo decided to just take out the Pershings. Erika, Maho, and Katyusha all to "When Johnny Comes Marching Home".

I still can't get over the apparent use of teleporters to prevent any of these people hanging out of their tanks from being crushed when their tank flips over. The instant her tank is hit, Fukuda just plain vanishes.

The spin-off manga about the light tank competitions were worse in that regards, but still... This even clearly shows tanks being deformed by the blast, but nobody inside gets hurt or even deafened from having an explosion cave in their vehicle mere inches from where their head is.

Also, while I'm complaining, I don't know why they bothered to make all the Japanese tanks fire like stormtroopers. It's already been WELL established that the Type 89 can't even scratch the paint of that Centurian, and the 95 has the same gun, so they might as well show the shot bouncing off, rather than having a Momo-style "everyone misses every shot from point blank range against a stationary target" shoot-out.

I was told that all tanks here have some kind of special inner layer armor, so they can be immobilized but not destroyed, and crew will not be harmed during fire fights. It requires quite a stretch of your suspension of disbelief...but hey, I know basically jack shit about military, I'll just enjoy the action.

Well they have masters some feats of engineering just to build those city-ships they use for their schools. And operate them for years.

I actually thought that not only the tanks were protected by some sort of special type of carbon material but also the girls themselves.

I mean, how the heck were they able to survive after all that? The Rabbit team's tank rolled several times and only the glasses were damaged? WTF?

When you come right down to it, real world tanks are weapons of war designed to actually kill people, and anti-tank weaponry is designed to actually kill people who are in tanks. So anything in a series like this, where you have schoolgirls rolling around in tanks and shooting at each other but not intend for anyone to actually die, is going to have to be wrapped in thick layers of handwavium to make the concept work.

Technically, Tony Stark should have died multiple times throughout the MCU series of movies since even though the outside of his suits might be armored, the inside is full of squishy human flesh.

Likewise, you can't apply real-world physics to a series like this. It all falls under the "Rule of Cool" and "Most Writers are Guys". There's a lot that's ludicrous about this series, but it's all in good fun.

Not to mention when the Centurion shot I-Gou in the turret, the commander is outside the hatch. Applying RL logic, she should have died not from the shot, but from the impact and having the tank roll over.

Its running on Rule of Cool, so logic doesn't really apply here.
