Gilgamesh was hardly kind either. Really I think only Alexander was the only kind one. In fact IIRC Gilgamesh wanted to watch Saber's despair because he considered it beautiful or something.

I think by "Kind" Calamity meant "Not-Screwed-Over."

What's funny, if you read the light novel, Gilgamesh tells Saber (after Iskandar has been ripping into her) that she shouldn't give a rat's ass about what he says because as a King, her own way of ruling was right as well, and let no one else tell her otherwise.

Personally I find it more creepy that Iskandar has so many fans when his stated wish is to essentially start World War III so he can try to conquer the world again after he is incarnated ala post-Zero Gil.
