Can some awesome nerd tell me what are those ghost-like thingies around Reisen? I've never seen them before recently.
I like some Touhou character (especialy Reisen) but knows hell nothing about it. I've just played a single one to try "that Thohou that's in every corner of the internet", but forgot which one, and it was in japanese, and with my great 0% knowlege of the language, did get nothing out of the history.
If somebody is kind enough to share their knowlege with a lost soul.

They're apparently a type of urban-legend creature called a kunekune, though most of the images of them here seem to depict them as resembling hattifatteners.
