    Uh, the original NE555 (and the original 555 in general) was from Signetics. The one from TI is the SA555/SE555.

    Though nowadays 555s are became such a generic commodity that almost every company produce them with almost every xx555 marking available.

    And I think only TI make and mark their product with NE555P, so nevermind my comments. -__-
