    my new painting commemorating the Battle of Grunwald, where the combined forces of Polish and Lithuanian knights, crushed the power of the Teutonic Order. It was also the largest battle of the Middle Ages.


    If you can recognize this knight on the foreground... then you know that the big guy at the back has a serious problems

    The problem is that they started to squeeze the local people a bit too much after they arrived at Eastern Europe, since to them the people were nothing more than the heretics/heathens(since many of them were the believers of Orthodox or still practiced pagan beliefs).

    Really, they may had the 'good cause' of spreading catholic words, but without helps from local people even the mighty order can't survive.
