that's not the joke. The joke is iyo's % goes up by 1% every time the admiral takes a drink. The admiral's body could no longer take it when iyo's percentage hit 30%.

He looks kind of scrawny, so let's assume he's somewhere in the 120lbs range. Even "just" 12 beers (presuming they were ingested within the space of less than about 2 hours) would be putting him in the potentially lethal BAC range.
