It's not the butt as much as it is the way the artist drew the water. Instead of drawing the skin lighter they made it darker, as if it was bent really low when he likely meant for it to be higher up.
If you also look at where the torso ends up in the water it is waaay too far from where it would connect. Artist probably fucked it up but water is weird.
