I read months ago that Yuzo Takada had recently started up a sequel manga to this story and that there was some new project in the works.

At the time I had hoped this project might be a new anime series that covers the manga story proper where the OVA from the 90's merely covered a small part of it. After some looking I find they have made a 3x3 Eyes pachinko machine, please tell me this isn't what they meant by 'secret project'. If this is all it was that they had planned I will be very disappointed.
