IGN commissioned Space Harrier picture.
Those who follow my twitter ([link] knows that i struggled a LOT to do that. I tried differents ways of doing a more modern checkerboard landscape but it was too hard.

Anyway, i kept the colors really retro there, and the bubble butt (and penis trees) are there.
