Yeah, it's definitely clearly named in the CN version.
But like Ithi mentioned above, in JP the text only says "この子", which is a generic phrase for "this one" or "this child," more simply translated in the game's context to "take this/him."
Seems like JP had something against the Grim Reapers, so they didn't include it in the translation. Though, I doubt it was censorship like with the nukes.
Well then, we can tag him as Grim_Reaper_(Azur_Lane) or Grim_Reaper_(Enterprise). Eagle-chan works as well.

Because we EN players only got a truncated version of the subplot where Yorktown gave the eagle to Enterprise but gave no name for the animal. So we know of the connecting link between Yorktown and Enterprise and how the eagle links them but we got none of the context to make it meaningful. It was probably a rushed translation.
