In this case, it's "DODODODODODO" or "D-D-D-D-D-D"

I'm not sure if that's the normal Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound of a diesel engine, or if it's just the sfx Kouji decided to use. Someone whose skill level with Japanese is better than "can transliterate some hiragana and katakana" would be better suited than me to say one way or the other.
