Looking at panel 2, does anyone get the feeling that Larva was supposed to be holding a ball, but Rappa forgot to set the layer's visibility before exporting the finished image?
I assumed she just tapped her fingers together kinda nervously. I probably didn't think of it your way since Remilia had the ball to begin with. If this was dodgeball, you'd see that panel 3 would confirm that error by having an extra ball seemingly forced out of Larva's hands from the impact of the ball that Remilia punted at her, but it's not the case here.
