RKN blocked 15.8 million IPs on Amazon and Google’s cloud platforms in attempt to shut down Telegram. It broke various net services, from web banking to Twitch and Splatoon 2 servers, while Telegram continued working. Afterwards Telegram was blocked but it works through VPN provided to its users for free.
