I can't pretend to an intellectual understanding of this artist's symbolism, but it has a deep emotional effect … usually a depressing one. This is the most wholesome thing I've seen this artist do. Unless I'm missing something.

Id say many miss something on most everything this artist puts out especially myself, but from the translation "boring movie" I'd say this could represent couples doing arbitrary things because they don't know what the other wants, maybe not knowing how to make them happy. And themes thus under that jurisdiction.
But then again maybe I'm over analyzing thinking of the depths behind some of their works. Because not everything has to have hidden meaning
