Au contraire, Virgorival. One time Harry Dresden combined fire power and ice power in a most spectacular way against a bunch of Red Court vampires. First, he lights one vampire on fire. Then he moves the fireball to the next vampire, and the next, and so on. When the fireball leaves a vampire, it takes ALL the heat in that vampire's body with it. So you have a steadily growing fireball leaving FROZEN vampires in its wake. How's that for combining fire and ice?
