Man, it's crazy to think this game has so many characters, 67. Smash has come a long way since it was first introduced.
And to think people wanted this game to start anew with cuts and much less content than the last Smash. I am so glad they didn't get their wish. I hate forced pass-the-torch demands.
(Also, in regards to how the characters are arranged, is there a tag describing the chronological order of which and when a character first appears?)

Sakurai said in a recent interview he actually considered rebooting the series, but scrapped that idea, thus leading to Ultimate.
Interesting that Charizard is separate from Pokemon Trainer here. Charizard was on his own in 4, but in Ultimate he's going to be with Pokemon Trainer again.
